On the occasion of Startup Day, an entrepreneurship conference was held at Godavari College of Engineering in Jalgaon today under the “Swalambi Bharat Abhiyan”. I was present on this occasion.

In the present time, this is the era of employment-oriented education and self-reliance by starting your own business along with this education. This program, organized with the basic concept of being a job provider rather than a job seeker, can be called a blessing for the young students of Jalgaon district. This concept of industry and entrepreneurship is not limited to cities considered as Tier 1 2 but is spreading rapidly in Tier 3 4 cities. Jalgaon is also not behind in this field, with over 20 successful startups starting from Jalgaon, the main speaker was Yogeshji Ud Gire, a participant in the Digital India campaign, and Dr. Vikas Gite Sir, Director of Startup Incubation Center, who presented the information in simple words. Prashant Patil, Manager of District Industries Center, gave detailed information about the ongoing schemes related to startups. At the same time, MP Smitatai Wagh said that the central government is standing firmly behind all the entrepreneurs and concepts and appealed to the youth to come forward to take advantage of them. Dr. Ketkitai Patil expressed satisfaction after seeing the rise of new startups in Jalgaon district and encouraged others and provided a capable platform to the new entrepreneurs of Godavari Engineering College.

On this occasion, about 500 students of engineering and management, along with 20 to 25 prominent entrepreneurs of the district, were present. 15 startup founders of Jalgaon district were felicitated in the program.
Swavalambi Bharat is conducting a signature campaign to establish an “Entrepreneurial Commission” at the state and central levels for the right to employment of youth, to spread domestically and create awareness, and appeals have been made to maximum members to participate in this campaign.
